Our Facilities
Under monument protection the City Park Ice Rink has been a symbol of winter movement, sports and recreation since the 1870s, and is also the cradle of Hungarian hockey. One of the pearls of Budapest is located next to Lake Városliget and Vajdahunyad Castle. In winter, with an area of more than 12,000 m2, it provides the largest outdoor artificial ice surface in Europe. In addition to the ice season, the City Park Ice Rink also offers boating and water sports for the public visiting.

The Margaret Island Athletics Center is located in the green heart of Budapest, on the magnificent Margaret Island. Our facility awaits lovers of outdoor sports and participants of outdoor events in an environment that satisfies all needs. The Margaret Island Athletics Center has been home to major events such as Budapest Restart, FINA World Water Championship, as well as various sporting events, competitions, smaller conterts, fan events and corporate or municipal family days. In addition, we provide the right conditions for recreational sports and competitors to prepare.

The classic area of Hungarian leisure and sports life is the Zugliget Shooting Range, which will renew this year. The facility, which is quickly accessible from the city center and is located in a wonderful environment – in addition to its traditional function – will expand its offer with the specialties of laser shooting, and will also serve as a meeting abd community point for hikers.
Currently under renovation, opening is expected in the fall of 2021.

We offer summer camping opportunities for socially needy student in five settlements of Budapest. Located in a cozy environment, the well-equipped facilities offer all the conditions for a pleasant leisure time and social events. In the pre- and post-season we also recommend our hostels for corporate events, retreats and team-building.
